I arrived at 2:15 (my appt was at 2:30.) The young lady checked me in, I went to the customer lounge to wait. And wait I did. It normally takes 45 minutes to an hour to get an oil change and tire rotation. At 4:00 I was still waiting. I went out and asked the same girl, she didn't have a clue. She comes back and says "oh, they fixed a recall, it will be ready soon". A courtesy update would have been nice to let me know it was going to take longer than I had planned. It's finally ready, I get in my truck and my seat setting was changed. My seat was so low I couldn't see out of the windshield. And the seat memory buttons didn't work even though they were previously set. Then black fingerprints on the inside of my door. I've used Hardy's service for several years and actually purchased my current truck there. But, I'm rethinking this decision on my next oil change.

Excellent experience! Called Erik Leija on a truck they had advertised online. He verified availability and was able to provide a “sight-unseen” estimate on my trade. Made the 2-hour drive to Gainesville and he had the truck out of cleanup, gassed up, and ready! While I had my own financing lined up with USAA before I arrived, Erik was able to get me a better rate with GM. They gave me the advertised internet price, a better rate, Veteran Rebate through GM ($500), Veteran Discounted Doc Fee (-$425), and had us back on the road within an hour or so of arriving. Honestly, one of the best car-buying experiences of my life. He also arranged to have the assist step bars delivered to Hardy in Dallas (closer to me) and they are installing them this coming week! GREAT JOB, ERIK AND CREW!!!

Waited for my routine maintenance on Wed and after 2 hours waiting I asked someone in the maintenance group why a routine maintenance was taking this long. Informed me that they were also doing a recall on the gate system, but I never was asked or informed about the work. I would not have waited if I knew how long I would be waiting. I’ll probably start having my routine maintenance done somewhere else.

The customer desk in the waiting room always gives me a chance to do some minor paper work & make a few phone calls. As a small business owner, time does not lay idle. I did notice at the end of the day when I was posting my check for service payment, the amount that I paid for invoice #322946 was a different amount that I was verbally given at the check out window. I was told $99.63, but the printed invoice shows $93.69. It's the little details that separate the amateurs from the pros. I should have crossed referenced before I cut my check. Must be the heat! So, I guess I don't win a brand new Corvette. My BAD............... Enjoyed the visit.

Kerry in service was very helpful when checking my truck in. I let him know that on my previous visit that the tires were not rotated and should have been. He marked the left front tire to make sure that they were rotated this time. Kerry brought me my keys after oil change was done. I paid and went to my truck. I checked for his mark on the tire and they had not been rotated. I got with Kerry and he got the service manager to so that we could tell him what happened. Service manager to the truck and had the tires rotated. I.left the dealership and went to lunch a couple of miles from the dealership. I got back in the truck after lunch to find that the low oil light was on. I checked the oil and it would just touch the dip stick. I returned to the dealership and spoke to the service manager again to explain what had happened. He had the oil changed again.

Everyone is so nice. I just wish my driver seat wouldn’t be so messed up and the AC blowing wide open when I get my vehicle back. It was not like that when I pulled into the service bay. It can be hard to get my seat adjusted back to where I had it. Surely whoever is moving the vehicle isn’t in it long enough to even need the AC. This is the 3rd oil change and tire rotation I’ve had done at Hardy and the 1st time I’ve had this type of problem.

My overall experience was good. However it more was like great checked in. Here's your keys were done. Didn't even tell me where my car was parked afterwards. It was my first time ever having service done here. I probably wouldn't have mentioned that but when I got home it still showed I needed a oil change. So I looked they didn't reset the oil pressure in the car. I had to do this when I arrived home.

Was told on phone oil change would be $100, turned out was #170, took two (2) hrs to do, service invoice listed wrong oil - when questioned was told I had to look up part number to verify correct oil used - what?? When I questioned higher price for oil change was told by service writer that he told me $170 on phone when he made appt, which I actually made online. Overall very poor experience - won't be back.

Service department touched my headliner and got oil on it, got in my car and left oil print on my carpet mat. This was on a Friday, I did not notice until I got home, had to take it back the following Monday. Also the front grill of my car had oil all over it. I will not be returning for service.

After the service I had went home and looked under my first brand new truck that i just purchased from Hardy Chevrolet in Gainesville and noticed that there looked to be oil on and all around my new oil filter and there was oil on the frame of the truck also...for one I'm very observant person when it comes to detail and I also do alot of my own maintenance to my vehicles but since the first service was free from the dealership I would have thought that attention to detail would have been a little more of quality since a Chevrolet dealership had done the job instead of an private auto mechanic....
