Was told on phone oil change would be $100, turned out was #170, took two (2) hrs to do, service invoice listed wrong oil - when questioned was told I had to look up part number to verify correct oil used - what?? When I questioned higher price for oil change was told by service writer that he told me $170 on phone when he made appt, which I actually made online. Overall very poor experience - won't be back.

Service department touched my headliner and got oil on it, got in my car and left oil print on my carpet mat. This was on a Friday, I did not notice until I got home, had to take it back the following Monday. Also the front grill of my car had oil all over it. I will not be returning for service.

After the service I had went home and looked under my first brand new truck that i just purchased from Hardy Chevrolet in Gainesville and noticed that there looked to be oil on and all around my new oil filter and there was oil on the frame of the truck also...for one I'm very observant person when it comes to detail and I also do alot of my own maintenance to my vehicles but since the first service was free from the dealership I would have thought that attention to detail would have been a little more of quality since a Chevrolet dealership had done the job instead of an private auto mechanic....

My overall experience was good. However it more was like great checked in. Here's your keys were done. Didn't even tell me where my car was parked afterwards. It was my first time ever having service done here. I probably wouldn't have mentioned that but when I got home it still showed I needed a oil change. So I looked they didn't reset the oil pressure in the car. I had to do this when I arrived home.

Pulled right in, and was seen to immediately. Waited in waiting area for about 40 minutes. Nice waiting area, tv to watch, water if needed. My specialist Katie also pulled my car close for a shorter walk to help with my disability. Also found out that an oil change specific for my car is only a couple of bucks higher than Wal-Mart.

My only complaint would be that with the appointment made a week out and information provided on services expected, it still took almost a day for the vehicle to be looked at and an initial estimate of needed parts and work provided. I understand things get backed up - but with the week's notice, it just feels like it could have had a "slot in the queue" already as it were. But beyond that, once the vehicle *was* looked at, the feedback was prompt and the service department was great about working with me (given it is an older vehicle, this was by no means assumed) and getting the issues addressed. The simplest summary is: "Would I service my vehicle with them again and recommend them?" and I would in both cases.

Everyone in the service department is always helpful and friendly. This last service was long as my car was in the shop for over two months. It had to get a new engine however I am still experiencing the squealing sound on acceleration/deceleration, and the high-powered engine sound is not there anymore like before. When I switch between the engine sounds in the settings, there is a squeaking sound when it switches back and forth and it sounds like something is opening and closing and this was not apparent before the new engine.

James Madison was very professional. He knows the vehicles he is selling. Answered all our questions. Great experience. Numbers weren’t adding up with auto trader bottom line and managements figures. Found that auto trader advertised price was $599 lower because it said the dealer fee was included, but we found in fact it was not. Unfortunately mgr could not honor auto trader price but this did not keep us from purchasing the truck.

Erik made me feel at home, offering no pressure to decide on my purchase. Erik was straightforward with everything. Based on Erik's professionalism, I decided to purchase the Colorado. I was also happy with the finance manager, Don Renner. Don was very professional and made the financing very smooth. I am a small business owner who is in struggling financially just as the car industry is. My 2020 Silverado is my number one tool that represents me. So i keep it in top condition. Time is money, and to wait 5 hrs in the guest waiting area, then pay over $500 for a transmission service seems somewhat high. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly, and one of the girls from the administration office even went out to the service dept to see if my work order had been completed. As a member of the Chevrolet family, I appreciated that.

My brakes needed to be checked. They were making a slight grinding noise and the car was bumping when I put on brakes. Hardy service department put new front and rear brake pads on as well as rear rotors. Problem solved! No more noise and smooth braking. Thank you!

The service was fine except that I asked to have my windshield wipers checked because I thought they were resting below the windshield line. When my vehicle was finished there was no note that they had been checked and when I asked the service person he hesitated and said they were fine. I don't believe they were checked and he was covering for that fact.

The people are very nice and friendly, but I was definitely not happy with the very next day after my service all my oil leaked out because of the oil filter not being tightened. Very disappointed and praying it didn't affect my engine, because I didnt know it leaked out and drove for 2 1/2 days with no oil,

I love the people at Hardy Chevrolet and they make me feel like family from a personal perspective however, regarding my 2023 Chevy Camaro, it has had one problem after another which led to a brand new engine but my problems still exist. Service department says they recalibrated the exhaust system to stop the ticking and squelch sound but as soon as I drive off the lot, it makes the same sound. I own a $60k car and it should not be continuously having these issues. I am beginning to think I have a lemon and this part of my experience makes me unhappy and disappointed and dissatisfied with the outcome.
